Day One
After travelling from Victoria to Tasmania on the overnight ferry we arrive on the northern coast refreshed and ready to dive headlong into adventure! Tasmania is blessed with some of the finest scenic riding in Australia and the route from Devonport to St Helens is typically spectacular. We then ride south to Launceston before turning north west to head up and over the Weldborough Pass. Remote pubs, empty roads and stunning scenery is the order of play for day one.

Day Two
Concentrating on the east coast is the goal for day two. We ride through the beautiful Freycinet National Park, down onto the Forestier Peninsula and then further south onto the Tasman Peninsula - home to the historic and some say haunted, Port Arthur. We spend some time exploring the incredible ruins of the former penal colony and getting an insight into what life was really like in such a remote place.

Day Three
West of the the state capital Hobart, we turn due south to experience the wonderful riding to be had on the Channel Highway. It twists and turns on its way south to the wonderfully named 'Snug' and 'Cygnet' where we get to experience some great vistas across the D’entrecasteaux channel, before we finally return to Hobart via Huonville.

Day Four
Today’s riding is nothing short of spectacular as it includes a visit to Russell Falls, Tasmania’s most famous. Shrouded in lush green ferns these falls are hidden away within the Mt Field National Park, offering some fantastic short walks amongst the towering Huon Pine in addition to the spectacle of the falls themselves.

The ride continues through the legendary Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park before arriving at the pretty town of Strahan, on the shores of Macquarie Harbour. We spend two nights here allowing the opportunity to catch a cruise along the wonderful Gordon River or explore the area around Strahan on the bikes.

Day Five
A free day today in this small settlement voted as the "best little town in the world" by the Chicago Tribune. There are many things to do in Strahan including cruising the incredible Gordon River (optional), or a scenic flight (optional) over the pristine forests in the nearby World Heritage Wilderness Area. Alternatively, if you'd rather explore the area by bike then you're free to do that!

Day Six
We turn north and ride the scenic Murchison Highway before turning off and visiting the iconic Cradle Mountain inside the Cradle Mountain - Lake St Claire National Park. Iconic is one word that aptly describes the national park; the area literally embodies the state of Tasmania in one easily absorbed visit. Cradle Mountain itself, rising up from behind Dove Lake with its unmistakable outline forms the epicentre in the astounding collection of natural wonders on offer.

Day Seven
Riding out of Melbourne we tackle the legendary Black Spur, a series of tight hairpin bends though towering forests of Mountain Ash on our way to Lake Eildon National Park which connects the towns of Eildon and Jamieson. These roads are a biker’s paradise and hugely enjoyable, however the area also abounds with wildlife, so keep your eyes open for iconic Aussie creatures!

The ride today takes us out of the mountains via the steep Brown Mountain Pass and through the scenic South East Forests National Park. We enter lush dairy country on approach to the more coastal regions of New South Wales and ride on to Bega, then join the Princess Highway up to Bateman’s Bay.
